Our mission is to empower the employee and employer together as a unified force, and break both cannabis and collective bargaining stigma in the process.
The Official CWR was created out of necessity! Stacey Watrobski spearheaded a unionization effort in August of 2020, which was subsequently dismantled due to the traumatic practice of union-busting. Outraged at the carelessness and corporatism plaguing the seedling cannabis industry, Stacey was then invited to train as an organizer with the UFCW International Cannabis Workers Union, where she spoke to workers all over the country looking for help with how to make change in their cannabis workplace. CWR is a culmination of years of boots-on-the-ground experience and passionate research, which lead to Stacey identifying some of the industry’s foundational flaws.
